We appreciate and value pragmatic environmentalism, but Brightstone Earthchurch is about more than that. If you are moved by Nature, if you feel church more in your garden than you ever did in a building, if the Earth and the life within her speak to you, call to you, fill you with kinship and numinous connection, you’re not alone. We are humans of all kinds on all different walks who recognize the celestial love and energy hosting us on this sphere. And our purpose is to encourage and support each other in pursuit of that relationship, bonding with that love and with each other for a life of growth based in a community without harm. And our purpose is always to support and celebrate authenticity and personal expression, shunning judgement, social pressure, and conformity, all of which are unnatural. No one can maintain beneficence for themselves and others from a place of falseness and shame.

In these initial stages, our gatherings will feature brief exchanges of how more habituated Earth mystics practice in their connection with Nature, and be informal times of fellowship. As we progress, we will incorporate functions that celebrate a diverse range of natural events. We will invite artists and musicians to share their particular gifts, and teachers and healers to educate and embolden.

Brighstone Earthchurch will take our message global. We envision future gatherings and conferences in numerous locales, and for now its feet on the ground will be headquartered here in Canton, Ohio.

The spirit of this Earth needs her children. A new world is coming, is nascent, and we’re answering the call to help build that future based in light and love. We are not in competition with any other church or faith practice. You may recognize and worship a higher power or walk with a deity and that is is not in conflict to our purpose. We are not here to threaten or subvert your faith. We celebrate love in all expressions.

Having designated the following agents, the organization is now in the process of registration and establishment as a distinct legal existence of regular congregants and recognized creed with its own literature and teaching available for the edification of its members.
